The Sheffield family

Thomas Sheffield took over the grocery and greengrocery shop in St. Peter's Street about 1890. His father had a grocer's shop in Wittering.
He had a large family. The three sons served in the First War. He ran the shop with the help of his wife Susan, who continued to run the shop after his death in 1930.
